The Show Must Go On, Impact report for the UK outdoor events industry
The Show Must Go On report (1st edition, November 2015) was conceived as a live event industry response to the Paris climate change talks in 2015. The report brought together all known UK research and analysed the most comprehensive datasets available to benchmark the environmental impact of festivals.
The report launched the Vision:2025 Pledge which aims to bring together events wish to take action. Please consider joining the growing number of committed festival organisers by signing the pledge to make a significant reduction in the climate impacts of outdoor live events by 2025 (and beyond). Become a member event by taking a simple pledge to take action – there are no fees.
The second edition Show Must Go On report was published in 2020 with updated information and statistics on the impact of the UK outdoor events industry.
