The July 2020 launch of the 5th annual green survey has been refocused, to understand the impact of COVID-19 on event organisers’ sustainability ambitions and plans for reducing their carbon impacts and inform a green recovery for the event sector.
Festival and outdoor event organisers are invited to take five minutes to fill out the 2020 industry green survey. Participating event organisers can win one of three specialist consultancy sessions focused on cost-saving with leading event sustainability experts; Livvy Drake (waste reduction), Chris Johnson (strategy and action plans), and Tim Benson (event power efficiency). For a chance to win, event organisers simply need to take the 2020 Event Industry Green Survey to let the Vision: 2025 team know about your sustainability plans for next season.

“We would usually ask organisers to share what they had done and learned this season, but without any live events we are instead looking forward. What is now important, is that the Covid 19 recovery for events is a sustainable one. We want to understand how this year has affected event organisers’ ambitions and plans for sustainability for the future.
“There are a lot of pressures on the industry, so the Vision: 2025 steering group wants to be sensitive and shape the resources and support we offer, to give the most realistic routes to reducing carbon impact.”
