One of the UK’s favourite festivals, Secret Garden Party, returned in 2022, giving instagrid the opportunity to showcase the capabilities of its ONE max portable power systems through their build and the four-day festival.
The battery systems were used by the creative teams on site. Artist Leila Alice Smith, the creative curator of SGP, J’me Howard, and the plant manager of SGP, Ben Pickering, enjoyed the many benefits of using instagrid’s ONE max portable power systems.
instagrid’s power packs are compact, portable and powerful. They increase site efficiency by enabling professionals to use the power they require wherever it’s needed, without the need to run long cables or start site generators early in the build. The fact that they can be charged in just two and a half hours and it does not produce any toxic fumes (zero local emissions) helps organisers reach their sustainability goals.
The weeks on Secret Garden Party showed that instagrid’s ONE Max could comfortably cope with the power requirements for power tools as well as jet washers and even welding machines. The power packs also powered a range of equipment such as PA Systems, camera cranes, and lights.
