Sustainability Panels at Event Production Show 2022

Vision: 2025 and Powerful Thinking have partnered with Access All Areas to deliver two sustainability-focused panels at the Event Production Show, 8th March, at ExCeL, London. Book your free place HERE.

The Vision: 2025 sessions will be part of ten Main Stage panels curated by Access All Areas Magazine, based around seven key themes of the conference: supply chain, creativity, social responsibility, major events, security, insurance and sustainability.

Powerful Thinking presents ‘Sustainability – progress with event power’ 13:00-14:00, 8th March

Host, Graham Brown, Vision: 2025 and Director, Brown Fox Comms, speaks with guests Chiara Badiali, Knowledge and Intelligence Lead at Julie’s Bicycle, Tim Benson, Director Smart Power and Chair of Powerful Thinking, and Mark Casey, PGA European Tour championship director, and Vikki Chapman, Head of Sustainability (UK&I) at Live Nation Entertainment.

The panel will discuss best practice for energy management, consider the impact of increasing fuel costs, new technologies that could power the journey to Net Zero and the practical reality of introducing energy plan changes at an event.

Vision: 2025 presents ‘After the LIVE Green declaration – what’s next?’ 14:15-15:13, 8 March.

Hosted by Access All Areas editor Chris Barrett, a panel of experts give updates on Live Green, the sustainability arm of UK live events industry umbrella organisation LIVE. What has progressed since the launch of Beyond Zero Declaration; a voluntary commitment to deliver measurable and targeted action on climate change, with the goal of reaching net zero emissions by 2030. Guest include; John Langford, Chief Operating Officer – AEG Europe, Chris Johnson, Director & Sustainability Lead – Shambala Festival, Claire O’Neill, CEO – AGF and Lewis Jamieson, Director of Communications – Music Declares Emergency
