February 2021: This month we highlight a bunch of online events focused on sustainability for you to join, and delve into managing uncertainty with festival pioneers Green Gathering. We welcome Sarah Bird in the Green Leaders Q&A, representing Wild Rumpus, who bring art, events and sustainability seamlessly together through their events.

We also hear from Charlie at Vision: 2025 about developing a green supplier directory, and from ecolibrium on the positive impacts of their climate solutions programmes in 2020.

This November we feature Massive Attack’s pioneering plans, a plethora of free events for event professionals to stay engaged and inspired; our Industry Green Leader Q&A #7 with We Love Green’s Marie Sabot; plus speakers are announced for the #WeMakeTheFuture Autumn webinar series, and a Powerful Thinking Blog on Hydrogen Fuel Cells at events.

October 2020: From the Vision: 2025 team this month comes the launch of an autumn webinar series and the new Vision: 2025 Green Supplier Directory to support #GreenRecovery + Powerful Thinking’s monthly blog from Tim Benson. We dedicate this jam-packed issue (every issue in fact) to the vital role our industry can also play for the environment, with two guest blogs; one on delivering sustainable events in a covid landscape and the second on applying the theory of adaption to the event industry, plus our monthly Q&A with Hay Festival Sustainability Coordinator Andy Fryers, and our picks of the month.

September 2020: As an industry we would be starting to reflect on the year, but right now, many are still doing their best to survive and plan in a climate of uncertainty. July 2020 : In this month’s newsletter: fill out the annual Vision: 2025 Event Industry Green Survey, meet the founder of the internationally renowned Red Rebel Brigade (XR), read an interview with Event Industry Forum Chair, Steve Heap, on Covid and sustainability.
