Fews have developed and invested in a highly efficient PVC cleaning machine which, while cleaning efficiently, also prolongs the life of the PVC. The detergents they use are sustainable and the machine uses much less water than a standard machine. The machine is now commercially available making it possible for other marquee hire companies to reduce their environmental impact.
They have also developed unique storage methods to prolong the life of all their hire stock to provide a high-quality sustainable service.
The business is powered by biomass and solar energy with heavy investment over the last 12 years. They source fuel using their own wood-chip company and use only waste wood that’s unsuitable for other purposes. It is all collected within a six-mile radius of their office.
They invest in the latest efficient vehicles – their fleet includes efficient Euro 6 tractor units and trailers. They are planning to convert generators and moffetts to HVO fuel.
